Overflow and after-hours call handling for UK trade businesses
When your team can’t answer, the enquiry still moves forward.
ARKOZ answers selected calls when your office team cannot, collects the job details you approve and sends the right person a clear callback request.
Start with one controlled 21-day pilot from £750. Human escalation remains part of the process.
The missed-call problem
The call is only useful if the right person knows what needs to happen next.
Calls arrive while engineers are working and the office team is busy. Details may be left in a voicemail, written down inconsistently or passed on without a clear priority.
ARKOZ helps you decide which calls should be handled, what information should be collected and who should receive the next action.
The caller leaves incomplete information.
Urgent and routine enquiries are difficult to separate.
The next person receives a message rather than a clear action.
How Voice Capture works
A useful call should reach your team as clear, structured work—not another voicemail.

Clear operating limits
Clear limits. A human remains responsible.
ARKOZ handles approved questions, information collection and notifications. It does not diagnose faults, decide whether a situation is safe, invent prices, promise attendance or dispatch engineers unless a separately tested and approved workflow supports that action.
Agreed questions
Not improvised technical advice.
Honest expectations
Not attendance promises.
Human fallback
When the assistant is uncertain.
Start with one workflow
21-day Voice Capture pilot
Test one selected overflow or after-hours call workflow before committing to a wider implementation.
£750 upfront
£500 is credited towards implementation if you continue. The remaining £250 covers workflow assessment, configuration, testing and the end-of-pilot review.
You finish with: a tested workflow, recorded findings and a clear recommendation to continue, change course or stop.

Why use ARKOZ?
Software gives you a tool. ARKOZ manages the implementation around it.
Self-service voice software
- You design the call flow
- You configure the system
- You decide the fallback behaviour
- You connect notifications
- You monitor calls and failures
- You own the technical operation
ARKOZ managed implementation
- We map the call flow with your team
- ARKOZ configures and tests it
- Fallback rules are agreed before launch
- Approved destinations are configured
- ARKOZ monitors the agreed workflow
- Named people remain responsible for delivery
A cheaper platform may be suitable if your team wants to configure and manage it. ARKOZ is for businesses that want the workflow designed, tested, connected and managed for them.
Is ARKOZ likely to fit your business?
Good fit
- UK plumbing, heating or electrical company
- Usually 5–30 field engineers
- Regular inbound calls or enquiries
- An office or admin process already exists
- Calls cannot always be answered immediately
- Capacity to accept more suitable work
- Willingness to agree clear call-handling rules
Not currently a fit
- Very low enquiry volume
- No capacity for additional work
- Looking only for the cheapest answering bot
- Wants automated diagnosis or safety decisions
- Requires guaranteed staffed human support
- Needs complex enterprise procurement immediately
What we can add later
Start with the call. Add follow-up only where it is useful.
Voice Capture is the starting point. If the first workflow proves useful, ARKOZ can assess other areas where enquiries or customer follow-up currently depend on manual chasing.
These are separately scoped options. They are not included in the initial pilot and are not recommended unless the process and likely value justify them.
After the pilot
Continue only if the workflow earns its place.
Final pricing depends on call volume, operating hours, notification routes, integrations, support requirements and the number of workflows included.
- Workflow configuration and testing
- Managed call handling
- Structured notifications
- Monitoring and agreed improvements
- Defined usage and support allowances
ARKOZ is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not added. Telephone usage, provider charges, bespoke integrations and work outside the agreed scope may be charged separately.
Named people. Clear responsibility.
Built and supported by the people you meet.

FAQ
Practical answers before we map the workflow.
Is this just an AI receptionist?
Voice Capture is the starting service. ARKOZ also maps the questions, notifications, fallback paths and monitoring around the call so your team receives a clear next action.
Why would we not buy a cheaper platform directly?
That may be appropriate if your team wants to configure and manage it. ARKOZ is for businesses that want the call flow mapped, tested, connected and managed without making their office responsible for another technical tool.
Does this replace our office staff?
No. It handles selected repetitive first-response tasks while staff remain responsible for judgment, customer relationships and exceptions.
What happens if the assistant is unsure?
It follows the agreed fallback: collect the available details, explain the next step honestly and notify or transfer to a human where configured.
Can we keep our existing telephone number?
In many cases, selected calls can be forwarded under agreed conditions. ARKOZ confirms compatibility and routing options during technical assessment.
Can it connect to our current software?
Email, webhooks and some supported calendars or systems may be straightforward. Native or unusual integrations require assessment and separate scoping.
Is it available 24/7?
The automated call flow can be configured for selected hours or continuous coverage. This does not mean ARKOZ provides staffed human support 24 hours a day.
How is caller data handled?
Data collection, disclosure, access, providers, retention and deletion are agreed before real callers are processed. The call flow should collect only the information it needs. This is not a legal certification.
What happens during the pilot?
We map one call flow, configure it, test agreed scenarios, run a controlled limited launch and review what happened before either side commits to a wider implementation.
Do you guarantee more revenue?
No. ARKOZ can measure calls handled, required details captured, routing, response time and what happened next. Whether that leads to suitable work depends on the client’s demand, capacity and sales process.
What happens after you book
One short review before any technical commitment.
- 01
We review when and why calls currently go unanswered.
- 02
We select one suitable call flow to assess.
- 03
Arpad confirms technical feasibility, provider costs and limitations.
- 04
If it makes sense, we propose a tightly scoped paid pilot.
If ARKOZ is not technically or commercially suitable, we will say so.
Workflow review
Show us where calls get stuck.
In 20 minutes, we will review how selected calls currently reach your team and whether one controlled pilot is technically sensible.
